It was decreed by the great Charter Review of 2020-2021 that this once per decade process shall break with tradition and take place five years later in 2026.

And so it shall be.

It was further decreed that 6 honorable residents of the City of Watertown shall be selected to join no more than 3 members of the honorable City Council to form this prestigious body.

When will this historic community-altering event commence?

Only this man knows:

Much has taken place in our government and in our daily lives as a result of the last Charter Review which the 2026 edition has the potential to match or exceed.

To paraphrase the prominent local street philosopher Russ Arico:

There are three kinds of people.

There are those who make things happen,

those who watch things happen,

and those who look around and ask: When did THIS happen?
